HIV Care With Red Carpet
Are you newly diagnosed with HIV or new to HIV care? Our HIV Specialty Care program, Red Carpet, can help you get into care quickly and easily regardless of when or where you learned of your diagnosis.
Red Carpet is our way of connecting people living with HIV to medical care in a smooth and fast transition that fits easily into your life.
Whitman-Walker Health has been a national leader in HIV Specialty Care since the beginning of the epidemic. We have multiple Infectious Disease Specialists and American Academy of HIV-certified providers on staff for you to choose from.
Based on your preference, this medical visit may occur the same day and typically takes place within a few days. Some patients will also meet with a Nurse Care Manager or a Care Navigator on that first day to discuss any relevant medical history or answer questions about services and care at Whitman-Walker Health. The Nurse Care Manager and Care Navigator are there to provide you with additional support and education as needed.
