David Fessler

David Fessler serves as Director of Clinical Practice and medical site director for Whitman-Walker Health’s 1525 14th Street location. In addition to supervising medical providers and holding various administrative roles in the Medical department, he is an Infectious Disease physician focusing on the care of people living with HIV. He also oversees student and resident medical rotations at Whitman-Walker Health.

Before joining Whitman-Walker Health in 2016, David was a Lecturer at Harvard Medical School and Staff Physician in the Divisions of Infectious Disease and General Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine in 2008, fellowship in Infectious Diseases in 2011, and Rabkin Fellowship in Medical Education in 2013. He holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Masters of Public Health from the University of Michigan.
