Jessica Estrada

Jessica Estrada serves as Whitman-Walker Health’s Senior Director of Nursing overseeing nursing and other programs that support patient care as well as occupational health and medical records. Jessica previously served as a Nurse Care Manager and Director of Nursing and Medical Support.

Before joining Whitman-Walker in 2008, Jessica earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Jessica was a nurse member of Nurses for America, an AmeriCorps and Georgetown University School of Nursing program to place registered nurses and advanced practice nurses in community and public health settings. This program placed Jessica in the well baby and immunization clinics at the Alexandria Health Department in Northern Virginia.

Following her time as a Nurse Care Manager, Jessica earned a Master’s degree in Nursing with a concentration in Public Health Nursing from John’s Hopkins University. She also worked as a public health nurse in the School Health Division of the Arlington County Health Department. Jessica’s passion for serving the Whitman-Walker community led her to rejoin the Whitman-Walker team in 2013.
